Bristol Township announced the grand opening date of the newly constructed municipal park earlier this month, as Saturday May 6, 2020.
“The Municipal Park upgrade project began with the acquisition of land adjacent to the municipal complex using funding from Bucks County Municipal Open Space grants, through the hard work and extraordinary vision of current Township Manager, Randee Elton, and with the support of Bristol Township Council and recently retired Township, William McCauley, a release from the township said.
“An awesome team of people came together to create a space that the entire Township can be proud of. We can’t wait for opening day, said Council President Craig Bowen.
Final additions including installation of benches, tables, and trash receptacles, and other details are being worked on now, officials said.
So Save the date for the grand opening celebration – Saturday, May 16, Bowen said.
