PennDOT announced Intelligent Transportation System (ITS) repairs are planned next week on southbound Interstate 95 in Northeast Philadelphia.
Motorists are advised of the following travel restriction:
- Monday, August 26, through Friday, August 30, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., a right lane closure will be in place on southbound I-95 between the Academy Road and Betsy Ross Bridge interchanges.
Drivers are advised to allow extra time when traveling through the work area because backups and delays will occur. All scheduled activities are weather dependent.
PennDOT installs and maintains ITS equipment on all regional highways to help manage traffic flow from the Regional Traffic Management Center in King of Prussia.
