U.S. 1 Lane Closures Overnight Next Week for Construction in Lower Bucks



Overnight lane restrictions are scheduled on U.S. 1 between Old Lincoln Highway in Bensalem Township and the Highland Avenue Exit in Middletown Township for construction activities in Bucks County, the Pennsylvania Department of Transportation (PennDOT) announced today.
The work schedules and locations are:
- Monday, April 18, through Thursday, April 21, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, alternating single lane closures are scheduled in both directions on U.S. 1 between the Old Lincoln Highway and the Neshaminy interchanges for paving, line painting, median construction, and a shift of southbound traffic onto the new southbound pavement; and
- Monday, April 18, through Friday, April 22, from 8:00 PM to 6:00 AM the following morning, southbound U.S. 1 will be reduced to a single lane between the Neshaminy and Highland Avenue interchanges for beam setting for the new southbound U.S. 1 bridge over the Neshaminy Creek.
