Borough Police Issue Warrant for Trenton Man in Jefferson Ave Shooting



The Bristol Borough Police Department have issued a warrant for the arrest of a Trenton man for last weeks shooting on Jefferson Avenue.
Hassan Bass, 19 is the man police say fired multiple shots at what police describe was a prearranged fight between two groups of men.
Bass, police say, brandished the unidentified gun, with the group then fleeing the area firing several rounds “at one of the individuals” who escaped injury, but the intended targets vehicle was struck several times by gun fire.



Witnesses on the scene told Lower Bucks Source that operators of two vehicles in a parking lot allegedly got into an argument which led to the shooting. A male with no description available at the time got out of a grey vehicle as the argument continued and started to fire his gun.
Multiple sources identified Bass as the shooter on Friday describing the Trenton man as “unstable.” in communications with LBS staff.
Borough authorities obtained a search warrant for the 19-year-old man Monday, after investigators interviewed several witnesses since the shooting last Thursday afternoon. Bass is wanted for two counts of aggravated assault, one count of reckless endangerment, one count of simple assault and one count of possessing an instrument of crime.
Bass, police say, is known to frequent the Bristol and Falls Township areas.
