A Bristol Borough man was has been charged for his role in a notorious drug and ghost gun distribution network by Bucks County Detectives.
John Lindsay 65, of Wood Street, was arraigned by District Judge Terrence Hughes on one count of corrupt organizations, two counts of dealing in the proceeds of unlawful activities, two felony counts of manufacture, delivery and or intent to deliver a controlled substance, and one felony count of criminal use of a communication facility.
Lindsay prosecutors allege is a key player in the Pentz Drug and Gun Distribution Organization in which law enforcement has arrested and jailed three other co-conspirators; Nicholas Michael Pentz, 29, of Macintosh Road, Bristol Township and Braon Monachelli, 24, of Militia Court, Bensalem, in June.
Lower Bucks Source was first with the story about the raid at Pentz’s home in Levittown last year.
The 17- page criminal filing spells out Lindsay’s role in the organization through undercover purchases of “meth” that were video recorded by surveillance on at least three separate occasions and was facilitated by an informant (s). The purchases ranged from $100 worth of methamphetamines to just under 27 grams of the lethal stimulant, according to court records.
On September 21, Bucks County Drug Strike Force members served search warrants on Lindsay’s home and gold Kawasaki Motorcycle. Days prior Lindsay told an undercover officer he was “getting a new shipment” in.
The search of Lindsey’s 600 block Wood Street home, Lower Bucks Source was first to report, yielded an undetermined amount of methamphetamines, drug packing materials, digital scales with residue, firearms, and a little more than $2300.0 in cash. Investigators also recovered a “large amount” of methamphetamines from the suspects saddlebag on his motorcycle based upon prior evidence and transactions made with the suspect.
Lindsay, according to Police, admitting to selling about one pound of meth a month in Bucks County and that he was the source supplies to Pentz and would met with him often for the sole purpose of making drug transactions.
At a later date Lindsay was interviewed again telling investigators his supplier of methamphetamine is Brian “Turtle” O’Connell.
There was a second home on raided by Bristol Borough Police that same day which led to the subsequent arrest and charging of 26 year-old Alex Leco on felony drug related offenses. He is currently free on bail awaiting his next hearing on February 1. Authorities would not say if the Leco search and arrest is connected to the Pentz organization arrests.
Lindsay is currently scheduled to appear for a preliminary hearing on February 15 in Bristol Township, He was released on unsecured bond of $250,000.
