Man Found Guilty for Shooting Man He Knew In Birch Valley Last Year

After a two day trial, a Langhorne man was found guilty of shooting another man he knew in Falls Township last year.

Jason Brennan, 26, was found guilty on charges for a shooting outside a residence on Buttonwood Lane in May of 2020 last week. 

He was found guilty on two counts of aggravated assault and one count of carrying a firearm without a license, two counts of misdemeanor recklessly endangering another person and possession of an instrument of crime, according to online court records.

Brennan was sitting in his white SUV outside the victim’s residence when he told him he didn’t belong in this neighborhood, court records show.

The victim noticed Brennan had a hand gun and told his girlfriend to take their two old child inside the home and call police.

The victim went in to his home getting two hand guns, and was shot by Brennan multiple times as he exited his home. The victim returned fire, striking Brennan’s SUV multiple times, said police.

Brennan was apprehended a short time later, parked at a Croydon gas station in Bristol Township by police.

Brennan remains in Bucks County Prison with a sentencing date yet to be set.
