Updated: Missing Morrisville Councilman Remains Found in Park

The remains of a missing Morrisville Councilman have been found at historic park in Bucks County.

Three credible sources told Lower Bucks Source Thursday afternoon that the remains of former Councilman Dave Nay were found in Washington Crossing State Park, not to far from where his vehicle was located on Wednesday.

Solesbury Township Police in a press release said  Pennsylvania Department of Natural Resources (DCNR), State Park Rangers searched the area where Nay’s pickup truck was located on Wednesday. At around 1:30PM Thursday a search crew from DCNR and Bucks County Park Rangers located Nay deceased with in the search area of Washington Crossing Park in Solebury Township.

Sources with knowledge of the investigation said it appears to be an apparent death by suicide.

The Bucks County Corners Office has yet to release an official cause of death.

Nay was last seen on April 29 at about 2 p.m. Nay who did not show up for work last Friday, was reported missing by his mother, police said.
