Salute 2 Service will be hosting a free lunch and learn seminar event titled “Planning with Honor: A Guide to Veteran Death Benefits, Interment, and Final Instructions” at Bucks County Community College (BCCC).
The event will be held in the Gallagher Room located in the Rollins Building on the Newtown Campus (275 Swamp Road), Friday, April 25th. According to Salute 2 Service officials, “Navigating veteran death benefits, burial options, and end-of-life planning can feel overwhelming. We’re here to help! The event is to help gain valuable insights on the benefits available: burial allowances, survivor pensions, headstones, and burial in a private vs. national cemetery.”
Discussion will also include pre-planning, covering topics such as creating a will, coordinating with authorities, and documenting final wishes.
